Bismarck Gateway Customer Service Representative and North Dakota National Guard Sergeant Bleau Hoge recently nominated Destiny Voth and Adam Seiler for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award.
"I nominated Adam and Destiny because I was getting ready to go on another activation for COVID orders,” Hoge said. “In January I got the call to go to Washington, D.C. With only a 24-hour notice I had to leave the branch for two weeks. Throughout all the activations, Adam and Destiny have been nothing but good to me. I have greatly appreciated the support from them and all of Gate City Bank."
"It is a great honor to receive this award and we truly appreciate everything Bleau has done for Gate City Bank and our country," commented Destiny.
A Statement of Support, which pledges the support Gate City Bank has for their military employees will be signed and be proudly displayed in the lobby at each Gate City Bank location.
Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense agency that promotes promote public and private understanding of the National Guard and Reserve in order to gain employer and community support.
The Patriot Award recognizes supervisors and bosses nominated by a Guardsman or Reservist employee for support provided directly to the nominator.
