Gate City Bank Announces Celebratory Contest and $10,000 Donation on America Recycles Day

Gate City Bank is celebrating the powerful and positive impact of their reusable blue bags. With over one million reusable blue bags donated since 2007, they are committed to creating cleaner, greener communities, and believe that it is their responsibility to make a difference in the communities they serve, For a Better Way of Life®. Over the past 10 years, they have helped save 700 million plastic bags from entering our environment.

In recognition of reaching the milestone of one million reusable blue bags, Gate City Bank has announced a celebratory contest and significant donation to a local organization.

Gate City Bank has launched a celebratory contest where the public can enter to win up to $1,000, with more than $6,000 in total prizes. To enter to win, submit a story, photo or video of how you use your reusable blue bag. Gate City Bank invite members of the community to stop by any of their 36 locations to pick up a bag for themselves or a friend! For full details, please visit gatecity.bank/bluebag or the Gate City Bank Facebook page.

In the spirit of giving back to our community, and as we approach the holiday season, Gate City Bank wanted to recognize that there are organizations in our communities that are extremely important that fill other needs in our communities. They asked the Emergency Food Pantry of Fargo to join them at the press conference Wednesday, where they presented them with a donation for ten thousand dollars.
