Fargo, ND - Gate City Bank has announced a record-setting amount of teddy bears and stuffed animals donated to the Teddy Bear Posse this year. The numbers were announced earlier today at a press conference held at Gate City Bank in partnership with Midwest Radio of Fargo-Moorhead. Local law enforcement, ambulance, firefighters and others accepting the donation of the teddy bears and other stuffed animals were in attendance.
During this year's Teddy Bear Posse event, held from March 12 through May 14, 4,532 teddy bears and stuffed animals were donated at Gate City Bank locations. This led to a grand total of over 5,700 collected, a record-setting number.

The Teddy Bear Posse was a campaign to collect new teddy bears and stuffed animals for area law enforcement agencies to distribute to small children involved in traumatic situations. Residents throughout the Red River Valley were encouraged to donate new teddy bears and stuffed animals at the donation boxes located throughout Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead through the radio stations of Midwest Radio of Fargo-Moorhead.
