Gate City Bank Joins the YWCA to Improve the Financial Wellness of Women and Families
For Immediate Release (Fargo, ND) – Gate City Bank, a longstanding YWCA Cass Clay Supporter, is deepening their partnership with the YWCA to help women change the course of their lives through education and employment opportunities. In the last five years alone, Gate City Bank has provided significant support to the YWCA including completely remodeling four transitional housing units and most recently investing in a major security enhancement to the Emergency Shelter. As part of this newly expanded partnership, a variety of enhancements to the YWCA’s Education and Employment program will be made over the next few months with an official unveiling and celebration event at the Emergency Shelter this fall.

As a part of this expanded partnership Gate City Bank will be the YWCA’s Premier Partner on Giving Hearts Day, a 24 hour online give-a-thon designed to inspire the Fargo-Moorhead community to increase support of local nonprofits. On February 12 donations of $10 or more to the YWCA will be matched by Gate City Bank and other generous donors.
