Mara Berdal serves as Gate City Bank Assistant Vice President, Universal Lender in Park River, ND. Originally from Grand Forks, she graduated from Black Hills State University, earning her degree in business management with a focus in accounting.

Outside of work, Mara and her husband are heavily involved in the Petersburg Fire Protection District, KEM Shriners and Dahlen Lutheran Church. In her free time, she enjoys barrel racing/rodeos, hunting, fishing and visiting the lake. Most people don’t know that she owns a mini donkey named Karen.

To Mara, being a team member at Gate City Bank means coming together for a common goal to help customers, communities and fellow team members. Among Gate City Bank’s Principles of High Standards, her favorite is Sense of Urgency because she cares about prioritizing customers’ needs.
