Transferring money is easy from online banking and the Gate City Bank mobile app! To transfer from online banking, select “Make a Transfer” under “Transfers” in the main menu. In the mobile app, select “Move Money,” then “Transfer Money” from the menu.

From there, select the accounts you’d like to transfer from and to and enter the amount for the transfer. Next, you’ll need to select your scheduling option for either an immediate, future-dated (one-time) or recurring transfer. Your transfer will be initiated based on the scheduling option you selected immediately upon submitting.

In addition to transfers, you can also use Zelle® to send money to friends, family and others you trust.

If you know the person’s account number, you can add them to your transfer account options in online banking and the mobile app.

In online banking, select “Add Transfer Account” under “Transfers” in the main navigation area and enter the person’s account information. In the mobile app, you can add the recipient as a contact from the “Move Money” screen and then tap “Transfer Money.”

You can also use Zelle® to send money to friends, family and others you trust in the U.S. using the recipient’s email address or mobile phone number.

We’ve got you covered! You can use Zelle® to send money to people you trust in the U.S. using the recipient’s email address or mobile phone number. The recipient will receive an email or text alert to accept the funds and will need to have an active Zelle® account to deposit the transferred funds.

You bet! Log in to online banking and select “Make a Transfer” under the “Transfers” tab. If you’re using the mobile app, simply select “Move Money,” then “Transfer Money.”

One-time transfers can be scheduled up to one year in advance. Recurring transfers can be scheduled:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Biweekly (every two weeks)
  • Semimonthly (twice a month)
  • Monthly
  • Bimonthly (every two months)
  • Quarterly
  • Semiannually (every six months)
  • Annually
