Empowering Women and Communities With YWCA Cass Clay

For more than 20 years, Gate City Bank and YWCA Cass Clay have been strong and committed partners as strides are made to provide safety, warmth and hope to those who need it most. In this case, especially when it comes to women and children.

From donations totaling over $1.75 million to volunteer hours accumulating to more than 1,000 hours in recent years, we’re dedicated to making a difference with this community partnership. In addition to monetary donations toward YWCA programs, we’ve contributed to its empowering mission in the following ways:

  • Team member-led donation drives for shelter items

  • Dollar-for-dollar matches on all team member donations

  • Four workstation donations (chairs, chair mats, monitors, stands and more)

  • A donation of $6,000 for new pots and pans

  • Fulfillment of items needed on the YWCA’s Urgent Needs list

“We’re thankful for this opportunity to partner with such a wonderful organization,” says Amanda Torok, Senior Vice President of Culture at Gate City Bank. “From volunteer hours to funding specific donation requests, we’re proud of our long-standing affiliation with YWCA – and look forward to many years to come!”
