As excitement builds for the Bison’s new era in the Mountain West Conference, Gate City Bank is inviting fans to kick off Homecoming Week with a celebration worthy of NDSU’s exciting next chapter.
What: Gate City Bank NDSU Homecoming Party
When: Tuesday, Sept. 29, 4-6 p.m.
Where: Broadway Square, downtown Fargo
Cost: Free and open to the public
The public is invited to Gate City Bank’s NDSU Homecoming Party Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Broadway Square in downtown Fargo. The free event will bring together alumni, students, families and fans to celebrate homecoming, community and the Bison’s historic first season competing in the Mountain West Conference.
The first 500 attendees will receive a limited-edition NDSU jersey yard sign and a Gate City Bank Field squishy, creating the perfect way for fans to show their Bison spirit at home, in the office or on game day.
The celebration will feature appearances by the Gold Star Marching Band, NDSU Cheer Team and Thundar, along with food trucks, family activities, giveaways and plenty of green-and-gold energy.
“This is a special moment for Bison Nation,” said Kim Settel, Gate City Bank Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Banking Officer. “Homecoming is always a time to celebrate, and this year brings even more excitement. We’re thrilled to bring the community together and create a fun experience for fans of all ages.”
The event reflects Gate City Bank’s longstanding commitment to NDSU and the community. Earlier this year, the bank was announced as NDSU Athletics’ first all-sport jersey patch partner, expanding a relationship built on shared values, community investment and support for future generations of leaders.

Gate City Bank is also offering a special one-day checking account promotion at its downtown Fargo and Fargo North locations. On Sept. 29 only, new customers who open their first Gate City Bank checking account, and existing customers who bring a friend to open their first Gate City Bank checking account, will receive an NDSU Snugible and a Gate City Bank Field squishy while supplies last.1
