Check images and other private information are not stored within the mobile app or on your phone, making a check deposit with the mobile app as safe as using online banking.

When you register for mobile deposit, you’ll receive an email with your personalized limits. You can also find your limits per deposit displayed on the mobile deposit screen. Limits may change based on your account activity.
After submitting the mobile deposit, you’ll receive a reference number and status for it. When your deposit is accepted, it may take up to one business day2 to appear in your account. If your deposit is held for review, you’ll receive an email notification when your mobile deposit is either approved or declined. If the deposit is declined, you will receive an email notification indicating the reason.
Please check your email within a business day of your deposit. You’ll be able to see the status of current and past deposits by selecting “View Deposit History” on the mobile deposit screen.
There are a number of reasons why checks may not be able to be deposited using the mobile app:

2 Mobile deposits are not processed on weekends or federal holidays.
