Craig Ventzke serves as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer in Grand Forks, ND. Working in the mortgage industry since 2018, he has a strong customer-focused approach and a passion for helping people feel informed and confident throughout their homebuying journey. 

Born and raised in Fargo, ND, and now living in East Grand Forks, MN, Craig graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Outside of work, he stays active in the community as a member of the Grand Forks Optimist Club and as a board member of the East Grand Forks Blue Line Club. In his free time, you’ll often find him attending his son’s sporting events.

For Craig, being part of Gate City Bank means living out the bank’s commitment to high standards. His favorite Principle of High Standards is Make a Difference because he values opportunities to volunteer and give back to the community.

In his new role, Craig looks forward to creating and building new relationships with customers and referral partners.

“My approach is about being available, knowledgeable and making sure customers feel comfortable asking questions,” he says. “When people feel supported and informed, they can move forward with confidence, which is what I aim to provide.”
