Shay Senger serves as a Universal Loan Officer in Alexandria, MN. Working in banking since 2022, she has a strong customer-first mindset and a passion for helping people feel confident as they make major financial decisions.

Originally from Monticello, MN, Shay now lives in Alexandria. A graduate of St. Cloud State University, she launched her career at Gate City Bank as a Customer Service Representative before stepping into the role of Personal Banker in 2025.

Shay is actively involved in her community, volunteering frequently with Habitat for Humanity. She is also a member of Alexandria Area Young Professionals and the Greater Alexandria Area Association of Realtors. Outside of work, she enjoys flipping furniture, renovating homes, gardening and spending time with her dogs, Dakota and Jack.

For Shay, being part of Gate City Bank means building relationships with customers and the community. Her favorite Principle of High Standards is Make a Difference, because it resonates with her passion for service.

In her role, Shay looks forward to helping customers take important next steps in their lives – whether they’re buying a home, purchasing a vehicle or consolidating debt to get back on track.

“My customer service philosophy is to listen first, solve second,” she says. “We’re here to do what’s in the customer’s best interest. Truly listening helps us understand what they need so we can provide the best solution for their situation.”
