Breaking a Leg With Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre

We’re incredibly proud to partner with Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre (FMCT) to make a difference in our communities. With our monetary support, people of all ages and from all walks of life have the opportunity to experience the joy and excitement of a live theatrical performance.

Helping Everyone Enjoy the Arts, For a Better Way of Life.®

What’s especially unique about FMCT is that it offers special sensory-friendly performances to make going to the theatre possible for children with autism and their families, the first initiative of its kind in the Fargo-Moorhead area. In addition to the monetary gifts that support this wonderful facilitation, we’re happy to provide team member volunteer support for FMCT.

With many aspects required to make a performance sensory-friendly, we were able to help purchase noise-canceling headphones and “fidget” supplies. Additionally, a video monitor in a separate safe space allows those who feel overwhelmed during a performance to move to a secondary location and continue viewing the production.

Part of creating a better way of life means helping people feel included. In this case, we’ve been thankful to provide children with autism and their families the opportunity to enjoy local arts.

“It’s an amazing honor to be involved with Fargo-Moorhead’s exceptional performing arts programs. I’m especially thankful to Gate City Bank for the support it shows for team members and others who enjoy enriching our community with talent, passion and creativity.”
