There’s truly something wonderful about a giving heart – and giving back to the people and places we call home. Since 2014, we’ve been proud to partner with Giving Hearts Day, donating countless dollars and volunteer hours to benefit incredible charities across ND and MN.
This annual 24-hour fundraising initiative is organized by Dakota Medical Foundation, and benefits charities in North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Since the first event in 2008, generous donors have given nearly $226 million, 100% of which goes directly to charities.
Plus, join us in supporting local food banks across North Dakota and Minnesota! Drop off your nonperishable items at any Gate City Bank location, now through February 12.

Gate City Bank will make the final determination which eligible Giving Hearts Day charity will receive a $25,000 prize from a randomly selected pool of nominated charities that have submitted the required essay.
